How to Make Chicken Alfredo

 Cook the penne pasta al dente, according to package instructions.

Season the chicken , cut into thin slices and then pan-fry in oil until is cooked.

Drain the pasta and toss immediately with the Alfredo sauce. Add the cooked chicken and mix. Garnish with parsley, if desired.

Proper Storage

Make Ahead: Chicken Alfredo is ideally made and served right away, however the chicken can be cooked up to 1 day in advance.

Ingredientes

  • 16 oz dry penne pasta
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  1. Make the noodles: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the penne pasta and cook until al dente according to package directions, Set aside.

    Make the chicken: Season chicken breasts with salt, and pepper.Warm the olive oil over medium-high heat in a large nonstick skillet. Cut the chicken into thin slices, Add the chicken and leave it undisturbed for 5-7 minutes, until the bottom is golden-brown.

    Make the Alfredo sauce

    Assemble: Take sauce off the heat and immediately toss with the cooked fettuccine noodles. Add the chicken and mix. Garnish with parsley, if desired.
